This assessment requires students to read and critique two journal
articles about a selected topic from weeks 7-10 of the lecture program.
To complete this assessment students must:
· Download (from Moodle), read and understand the Assessment 3 Rubric.
· Select a research topic from the lecture topics listed for weeks
7 to 10 of the lecture program.
· Read the academic journal article listed adjacent to the selected
topic as outlined in the lecture program.
· Individually research the academic literature via Google Scholar
or library journal databases and select and read a second academic
journal on the selected topic that is NOT on the list of assigned
readings.
· Prepare a written critical analysis of both academic journal articles
and submit it to Turnitin via the subject Moodle site.
· All references to be in Harvard format as outlined by the UOW
Referencing Guide available from the UOW Library website.
Notes:

2. All students in this subject should be aware that assessment tasks
may be randomly audited for originality in addition to information
provided in the Turnitin report. This may include requiring students

Report overview
This assessment builds on student learning and work in previous assessments.
More specifically, it builds on the work completed in Assessment 3 and the
feedback received for Assessment 3. To complete this part of the assessment:
· Download (from Moodle), read and understand the Assessment 4 Rubric.
· Download (from Moodle) read and understand the Assessment 4 Report Template.
· Individually research the academic literature via Google Scholar or library
journal databases and select and read a two (2) additional academic journals
on the selected topic not already on the assigned list of readings.
· Build on the written critical analysis completed in Assessment 3 by:
o critically analysing the 2 additional journal article.
o comparing and contrasting the 2 additional journal article with those used
in Assessment 3 (this will form part of Section 2 of your report).
· Write the report on your selected topic and make specific recommendations
to a manager about the practical implementation of what was discovered from
the review of the literature on the selected topic.
· Write a reflection on your key learnings from Assessments 3 and 4 and how
you have incorporated feedback received from your lecturer for Assessment 3
into your final submission of Assessment 4.
· Submit the report to Turnitin via the subject Moodle site.
