Topic: Flight Crew Training

 
Flight Crew is a term referring to both Pilots and Cabin Crew. At present pilot training in particular is becoming a topical issue surrounding a number of recent aircraft accidents. You are tasked with writing a Report discussing Flight Crew training AND discuss the role of Safety Management Systems in aviation operations (airlines). This report needs to be well formatted and illustrated where possible. In other words, a bit like a journal or magazine article. It will consist of two parts. Be creative.
 
The report needs to be about 2000 words +_10%

Discuss a variety of aspects of pilot and cabin crew training in addition to SMS. Examine the issue of pilot training with respect to recent airline accidents. Where could the Safety Management System have broken down to allow these recent accidents to occur? Try and tie the 2 parts of this assignment together. Use the internet to find material and remember to credit your sources.
