Assessment Task 1: Health Rationale. Link To Marking Guide attached
Description
You are part of a team for the WA Health Promotion Strategic Framework development. Your team is arguing a case for the production of a health promotion that targets an Australian health priority area. Your team will choose and research a current Australian health priority area.
Each person will present
a rationale for a specific targeted health priority that will inform one pamphlet in a series of health promotion pamphlets
The rationale must address a specific health focus area within the group’s identified Australian health priority and be suitable for the library or a chosen source (e.g. Dr surgery, community health centre, school library, community library, wellness centre).
(
The rationale will inform Task 2, group project- the production of a series of health promotion pamphlets
As a group decide on a target group e.g. youth (12–18 years), young adults (18–30 years) or seniors (60+) and the health priority area that the whole group will develop pamphlets for.)
Priority areas are chosen from research within the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare, Western Australian Health (as examples).
